GOLDEN BRIDGE was established by a group of professionals whose personal experience of studying and working abroad inspired them to research on education and career prospects in foreign countries, and form close networks with their legal authorities to facilitate going abroad for people seeking better education, jobs and lifestyle, and aspiring Georgian students and graduates. UK, USA, Canada, Australia, EU offer tremendous opportunities in the field of further and/or higher education. The universities and colleges in these countries offer world class education! VALERIAN MARKAROV
Managing Director
Valerian is deeply committed to international education and training and is available to Education providers that share his desire to develop and promote outstanding education programs and support services for students. Due to his extensive experience, Valerian believes that the pursuit of uncompromising quality and excellence in service standards is the basis of long-term success for learners, students, and educational organisations.
Valerian Markarov is the BRITISH COUNCIL Certified Education Advisor and ICEF Certified Education Counsellor. A magna cum laude graduate of Tbilisi State Pedagogical University, he earned an M.A. in World History and practiced as a High School Teacher. Later he became International Doctor of Philosophy (Belgium); Honorary Professor of the European University (Hannover, Germany), Honorary Professor of International Center of Modern Education (Prague, Czech Republic).
For his dedicated services to overseas education and for strengthening international youth relations Dr. Markarov has been a recipient of various international awards such as the Order of "Science, Education, Culture" (Brussels, Belgium), The Leonardo da Vinci Medal (Germany). He is an Honorary Citizen of the City of Davis, (California, USA) and Alumnus of the Exchange Training Programs funded by the Governments of the USA (at California State University-Sacramento), Israel (at MASHAV Training Center) and Italy (at Turin Training Center of the International Labor Organization).
He says: "Being a very strong believer in Education, I am proud to be a person to guide students through this pathway. Education is the only thing a human being can have that no one in the world can take away! Education is knowledge and knowledge to me means authority, strength and ability! With a bit of will power and luck, education will open the pathway to your professional life".
TAMAZI GOGILIDZE
Executive Director
Tamazi worked with Georgian-German Center for Cultural Relations as an Administrative Director, prior to establishing GOLDEN BRIDGE.
He coordinates recruitment efforts and interviewing of potential applicants, screening, running focus groups, and develops a variety of partnerships and new projects.
He organizes and facilitates special events, as well as plans, and coordinates special projects; compiles reports and assists in the development of policies and procedures.
Tamazi brings to GOLDEN BRIDGE a long-time interest in multicultural communications and understanding. He has travelled extensively domestically and throughout the Europe.
